Cold weather calls for confident craftsmanship. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn essential alteration and repair techniques for coats and outerwear — from adjusting sleeve length and replacing zippers to reinforcing seams and updating linings. We’ll also cover pressing, topstitching, and finishing methods for thick or layered fabrics to give your projects a clean, professional look.
This workshop is ideal for sewists who want to take their alteration skills beyond the basics. All materials and machines are provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own coat to assess and practice on under instructor guidance.
